Who is responsible

MOBILE REPAIR SCOT LIMITED (“Casecraft”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through mobilerepairscot.shop. We sell universal, non-powered phone protection and care accessories worldwide.

Registered address: 15 Raeswood Gate, Glasgow, United Kingdom, G53 7HF. Data protection contact: support@mobilerepairscot.shop, phone +44 7670829068.

What we collect

  • Order & delivery data: name, email, phone, shipping address and billing address, items ordered, selected fit range, and order history — used for order fulfilment and delivery.
  • Account & membership data: if you join Casecraft Club, your subscription tier, status and billing period.
  • Support & enquiry data: messages you send via our contact and team-order forms, including country and the details of your request.
  • Payment data: we do not receive or store full card numbers (see the payment boundary below).
  • Technical data: essential cookies and basic, aggregated usage information needed to run the store securely.

Collection sources — where we collect it from

Our collection sources are:

  • Directly from you — when you place an order, create a Casecraft Club membership, or submit our contact or team-order forms.
  • Automatically — essential cookies and local storage when you browse and use the cart.
  • From our processors — our payment provider and delivery carriers send us order status, payment confirmation and tracking updates.

Orders, fulfilment and delivery data

Because we ship physical products worldwide, we handle order and fulfilment data with specific care:

  • Shipping address & order fulfilment: we use your shipping address, name and phone to pick, pack and complete order fulfilment and to arrange delivery of your parcel.
  • Delivery carriers: we share the shipping address and contact details needed for delivery with the postal and courier services that carry your order and provide tracking.
  • Returns & exchange support: we use order and contact data to handle returns, exchanges, replacements and refunds, and to answer support questions about your order.
  • Payment & billing data: billing name, billing address and the payment confirmation (last four digits only) are processed for your receipt, tax records and any refund — we never receive full card numbers.

Why we use it and our legal bases

  • To fulfil orders and memberships — process payment, ship products, manage returns and run Casecraft Club (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • To provide support — answer questions about fit, orders and safety (legitimate interests / contract).
  • To retain enquiry leads and follow up on quotes and abandoned checkouts (consent, given via the form and checkout privacy checkbox).
  • To keep the store secure and comply with law — fraud prevention, tax and accounting (legitimate interests / legal obligation).

Payment provider boundary

Card payments are handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider (Stripe) on their hosted checkout. Your full card number, CVC and expiry are entered on the provider’s systems — we never see or store your full card details. We receive only confirmation of payment, the last four digits, and billing metadata needed for your receipt and any refund. If PayPal is offered, the same boundary applies. Reviewing card networks and acquirers only ever act through that provider.

Who we share it with

  • Payment processing: Stripe (and PayPal, if enabled) for secure checkout, billing and refunds.
  • Hosting & infrastructure: Vercel, which hosts this site.
  • Lead & order records: Supabase, which stores form and checkout lead records for us.
  • Delivery carriers: the postal and courier services that carry your parcel and provide tracking.
  • Email delivery: our transactional email provider for order confirmations and support replies.
  • Professional & legal: accountants, and authorities where required by law.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

We ship and operate worldwide, so some processors may handle data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.

How long we keep it

We keep order and accounting records for as long as required by tax and consumer law. Enquiry and marketing lead data is kept for no more than 24 months from your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Membership data is kept while your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting.

Your rights (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. UK and EU residents can lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) may request to know, delete or correct their personal information and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. To exercise any right, email support@mobilerepairscot.shop.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to run the cart and secure checkout. Any non-essential analytics are limited and privacy-respecting. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to control them.

Children and automated decisions

This store is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data; customers aged 13–17 should have a parent or guardian’s consent to purchase. We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
